About The Position

CO-Energy has an opening for a Fuel Truck Delivery Driver working out of our Boise facility. For 39 years, CO-Energy has been a leading distributor of fuels and lubricant products for a wide range of commercial and agricultural customers in Eastern Washington, Idaho and Northeastern Oregon. As we grow, we seek to hire safe, customer service driven people. This position will load, transport and deliver bulk fuel to customers in our Boise service area. Usually there are no overnight stays required, driver will be home every night. Depending on customer needs overtime hours may be required occasionally either by additional daily hours or added weekend shifts. Our Drivers earn a competitive hourly wage with plenty of Overtime available for those who want it. Our Drivers also participate in the CO-Energy Driver Bonus program. This program provides a generous annual bonus for drivers that work safe and pay attention to the details. Requirements

  • Valid Idaho Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with X endorsement and Interstate medical self-certification.
  • Excellent driving record - no more than one (1) moving violation or at-fault accident in the last three (3) years.
  • One (1) year of CDL truck driving experience.
  • Clean safety and substance-testing record as defined by the US Dept of Transportation FMCSA regulations.
  • Ability to use ELD (Electronic Logging Device) to record hours-of-service data.
  • Ability to do basic math; read and write in English to complete required paperwork & communicate with office staff and customers via text and email.
  • Pass a post-offer, pre-employment DOT/FMCSA drug screen & criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Drive 10 & 18-Wheel tanker trucks to load, transport and deliver fuel products to customers on a regular route
  • Load/Offload fuel into the truck tanks
  • Read, verify and check paperwork for accuracy and errors
  • Interact with customers in-person and on the phone in a manner that demonstrates excellent customer service
  • Work safely by following all company and government rules, regulations and best practices.
  • Report all petroleum product spills immediately, act quickly to reduce the spill.
