About The Position
Lanman Transportation has been a leader in the industry for over 20 years. We are a for hire hazmat carrier operating in primarily Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri. We are looking for the right fit to add to our driver team!! $2000 sign in bonus No Slip Sitting Essential Functions: The Fuel Hauler is a key role in ensuring a successful partnership with our customers. Safely drive tractor with tanker to make deliveries on time, without incident, is the main objective. This position requires a clean driving record and demonstrated knowledge in fuel / hazmat deliveries. Will train the right candidate. Drive tractor/tanker truck to various locations in a safe and efficient manner; per dispatch Perform pre trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness; Electronically complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of service etc. Have working knowledge of DOT regulations regarding operating a CMV, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year CDL experience
- CDL- Class A
- Valid DOT physical
- Clean driving record
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to lift 25-50lbs
- Initiative and willingness to learn
- Strong customer service skills
