About The Position
Colonial Transportation Solutions, Inc., a division of Colonial Group Inc, is seeking a dedicated Fuel Transport Driver to join our team in Statesboro, GA. This position is critical to our operations as it involves the safe and efficient delivery of petroleum, lubricant, and chemical products to our customers. As a Fuel Transport Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made in compliance with state and federal regulations, particularly those set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT). You will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of safety and operational excellence that Colonial Transportation Solutions is known for. In this role, you will be expected to deliver fuel, lubricant, and chemical products to and from specified destinations while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate drivers logs in accordance with state and federal guidelines, performing pre-trip, post-trip, and in-transit inspections of your vehicle, and ensuring that all inventory is inspected to guarantee proper delivery. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in executing these duties effectively. The work environment for this position will expose you to various weather conditions, and you will be required to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. This position is a night shift role, and you will be expected to work during the hours that best serve our operational needs.
