A Fuel Technician has a wide variety of skills and will be able to work through difficult problems. This person installs, maintains & repairs fuel dispensers; submersible fuel pumps; service station site controllers; credit card readers; cash register consoles; pumping PCW; tank & line monitoring equipment; various other types of equipment found in service station and convenience gas stations.

  • Work in a safe manner
  • Install troubleshooting and service convenience store networking, including running cable, programming routers, and establishing connectivity to credit networks
  • Install, calibrate, test fuel dispenser and associated equipment
  • Install, program, and service point of sale systems for convenience stores
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and service fuel dispenser and associated equipment
  • Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and annual certification of fuel station equipment
  • Read, interpret, and follow instructions and operations manuals
  • Observe and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform the job duties in a safe and sensible manner in accordance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
  • When necessary, respond to emergency repairs and provide after-hours support needed
  • Perform service calls as needed on an after-hours basis
  • Maintenance Technician Experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures
  • Gilbarco Fueling System Preferred
  • Wayne Fueling System Preferred
  • Veeder- Root System Preferred
  • Verifone Systems Preferred
  • ICC certifications Preferred
