A Fuel Technician has a wide variety of skills and will be able to work through difficult problems. This person installs, maintains & repairs fuel dispensers; submersible fuel pumps; service station site controllers; credit card readers; cash register consoles; pumping PCW; tank & line monitoring equipment; various other types of equipment found in service station and convenience gas stations.

Work in a safe manner
Install troubleshooting and service convenience store networking, including running cable, programming routers, and establishing connectivity to credit networks
Install, calibrate, test fuel dispenser and associated equipment
Install, program, and service point of sale systems for convenience stores
Troubleshoot, repair, and service fuel dispenser and associated equipment
Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and annual certification of fuel station equipment
Read, interpret, and follow instructions and operations manuals
Observe and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
Perform the job duties in a safe and sensible manner in accordance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
When necessary, respond to emergency repairs and provide after-hours support needed
Perform service calls as needed on an after-hours basis

Maintenance Technician Experience
Valid driver’s license
HS Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures

Gilbarco Fueling System Preferred
Wayne Fueling System Preferred
Veeder- Root System Preferred
Verifone Systems Preferred
ICC certifications Preferred
