Requirements

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Must maintain a clean work area.
• Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
• Cross train on other jobs as required
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
• Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
• Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
• Previous mechanical experience
• High School Diploma / GED and further college education a plus

Responsibilities

• Must be able to read tape measure
• Operate shear machine and measure specs from cuts
• Operate Laser machine and measure specs referencing blueprints.
• Operate Robot polisher
• Perform manual polishing for blending specifications
• Perform packaging station requirements and have basic knowledge of Navision
• Fill out daily paperwork and production boards
• 5S Audit and daily checklist
• Continuous improvement/Process improvement (give suggestions)
• Use daily discomfort log and report sickness/injury (no matter how slight)
• Perform daily housekeeping responsibilities
