This position is offered through the DoD SkillBridge Program, providing U.S. Armed Forces members with an opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience as an apprentice Service Technician during their last 180 days of service. The role involves comprehensive training to become a Service Technician, playing a critical part in ensuring environmental compliance for clients. Responsibilities include testing, maintaining, and repairing all refueling equipment for various sectors such as the petroleum industry, commercial and municipal refueling facilities, marinas, and airports. The Technician will ensure adherence to state and local regulatory directives concerning storage and monitoring systems. This individual will work closely with client personnel as a company representative, performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks without direct supervision, and will be responsible for identifying and documenting both compliant and non-compliant issues observed at client sites.
