About The Position

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Fuel & Service Technician to join our team at Alpha Inc. As a Fuel / Lube Truck Driver and Technician, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance services, fueling, and lubricating our heavy construction equipment fleet in the field. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the overall functionality and efficiency of our equipment. If you have experience in fueling and maintaining heavy equipment, possess a CDL, and have a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to physically lift and carry 50lbs.
Must be able to climb on, off, and under various pieces of equipment and physically access all parts of equipment to perform job requirements.

Responsibilities

Responsible for driving to different sites daily to refuel, grease, and maintain equipment.
Inspects and performs periodic maintenance.
Performs oil changes on heavy equipment and light vehicles.
Greases machines daily.
Fuels machines daily.
Performs minor repairs (ex: replace hoses and filters, etc.)
Maintains fuel/lube truck and all products carried on truck.
Complies with all D.O.T. rules and regulations.
Keeps truck clean and operational at all times.
Assists mechanics with daily jobs.
Helps keep yard as clean and neat as possible.
Maintains and completes all necessary reports legibly and in a timely manner for daily service reports, work order closure, daily log sheets, and timesheets.
Communicates progress of repair with direct supervisor as required.
Uses company vehicle, service truck, fuel cards, etc. properly and notifies direct supervisor of any issues with the vehicle.
Able to work a flexible schedule
