About The Position

As a member of the Headquarters Diesel Division the Fuel room is primarily responsible for assembly, disassembly, inspection, and calibration of fuel components. The components used in this process may include pumps, injectors, governors, and or blowers. The Assembler will be required to function independently and make decisions on what parts need cleaned, replaced, etc. You may be thinking, “I don’t have any automotive experience”. Or… “I don’t have experience with tools”. That is OK! Here at JASPER, we take pride in our training programs and strive to provide you with the necessary tools to be successful. We provide a 5-day training program through JET101 to help you get acclimated to the automotive world, and to JASPER’s culture.

Requirements

Able to work in a self-directed position.
Able to work independently.
Consistency of a repetitive process
Able to work with a computer and scanning tool.
Strong technical/mechanical skill experience preferred.
The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 40lbs.
The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
The ability to use handheld tools such as Impact, torque wrench, hammer, Mic, all basic hand tools.
The ability to follow the process and stay focused while performing each task
Standing: Continuously
Walking: Frequently
Sitting: None
Stooping (forward leaning): Frequently
Reaching/Working Overhead: Frequently

Nice To Haves

Strong technical/mechanical skill experience preferred.

Responsibilities
