Location Address: 1000 S. 2nd Street Job Description: The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: * Coordinate and assist in regulatory compliance measures including environmental compliance testing and location inspections. * Maintain fuel spill clean-up programs and facilitate trainings for internal associates. * Collaborate with cross functional departments to ensure impacted areas of the business are aligned to ensure adherence to all regulations. * Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Federal and State regulations that govern fuel storage and dispensing systems and ensure that locations are compliant with all safety protocols. * Coordinate invoice processing for regulatory compliance including fines, processes, permits, insurance, and related vendors. * Manage vendor contracts related to fuel regulatory compliance initiatives and UST operations. * Maintain compliance and training record related to PASS/Insite360. * Active participation in the Emergency Response and Fuel Spill Response Teams. Supervisory Responsibilities This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required: Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or 5+ years relevant experience. UST Class A/B Operator certification in states we operate. Can be obtained after hire. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other associates. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw, and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Skills, Abilities, and/or Training The following qualities are required: * Minimum eighteen (18) years of age. * Ability to pass drug test. * Committed to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated. * Ability to preserve confidentiality of information. * Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency. * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects. * Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes, helpful. * Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines. * Ability to work with technology-based solutions, including reporting tools and internet-based solutions. * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) computer programs. Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations UST Class A/B Operator certification in states we operate. Can be obtained after hire. This position requires a valid driver's license for business travel.
