The position involves diagnosing problems using test equipment, statistics, equipment history, and manufacturer specifications for industry-related standards, along with blueprint troubleshooting. The role requires repairing and maintaining related components such as pumps, valves, vessels, hydrant pits, gauges, switches, motors, lights, heaters, meters, hoses, etc. The individual will be responsible for making required log entries of fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance. Preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems, including related equipment on fueling vehicles, is also a key responsibility. Routine and periodic inspections must be performed in compliance with company, customer, government, and industry standards. The role includes transferring products and monitoring storage tanks, pipelines, and related equipment to ensure they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills, and product contamination. Maintaining a clean and presentable Fuel Farm is essential, and all work must be conducted safely by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state, and federal safe work policies and procedures.
