Key Responsibilities: Fuel Program Support: Assist in managing the company’s fuel network. Monitor fuel pricing and availability across approved fueling locations Support implementation of fuel optimization strategies to reduce overall costs Driver Support: Provide guidance to drivers on approved fueling locations and procedures Address driver inquiries related to fuel cards, transactions, and fuel stops Troubleshoot fuel card issues and escalate when necessary Data Tracking & Reporting: Track fuel usage, costs, and trends using internal systems Generate and maintain reports on fuel efficiency and spending Identify discrepancies or unusual fuel transactions and report findings Vendor Coordination: Communicate with fuel vendors regarding pricing, billing, and service issues Assist in negotiating or updating fuel agreements as directed Maintain accurate vendor records and contacts Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to company fuel policies and procedures Assist with audits of fuel transactions and driver compliance Support fraud prevention efforts related to fuel usage

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or fuel management is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of fuel card systems (e.g., Comdata, EFS)
  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS)
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data trends
