Overall Scope Perform all duties necessary, under the general direction of the Team Leader/ Supervisor to successfully perform machine set ups, changeovers, preventive and breakdown maintenance on the machinery in the Assembly area. Also, monitor part production and quality and assist operators in production of parts. Hours: Weekend shift Primary work hours are between 6:00 am – 6:00 pm Friday - Sunday. Over time as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Prefer technical school degree.
  • Experience with assigned machinery.
  • Experience with gauging.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for quality and operation for assigned machines in the assembly area.
  • Set up machines to run different part families by changing part specific equipment.
  • Perform in-process inspections for suspect parts or if abnormal operation occurs.
  • Perform testing projects for new parts.
  • Investigate non-confirming product and make recommendations.
  • Acquire machine parts and indirect materials as necessary from plant stores.
  • Perform changeovers to machines as necessary.
  • Communicate with Supervisor as necessary.
  • Perform work by SOPs and safety rules.
  • Oher duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Production Coordinator
