About The Position

This Fuel Driver will be responsible for covering other driver routes, both residential and commercial as needed for vacations, sick, etc. for short and long periods of time. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule working two or three weekdays and be available for weekend loads when needed. There is no guarantee of overtime, but the position is considered full-time for benefit eligibility.

Requirements

• Class A CDL (REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED)
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
• No restrictions on license
• Clean driving record
• No DUI or OVI for the past five years
• Current DOT Medical Certificate and ability to maintain a minimum of annual recertification
• Understand that overtime is not guaranteed
• Previous fuel delivery experience is required.
• Must ALREADY have a Commercial License

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload refined fuels and fuel oil to residential and commercial customers
• Responsible for preparing and maintaining records, and operating truck according to federal regulations and company safety procedures
• Conduct pre-trip inspections such as checking fuel and oil levels, inspecting tires, lights and brakes
• Flexibility to run customer route deliveries which may vary from day to day
• Must maintain a clean truck and perform required preventative maintenance
