Fuel Delivery Driver
About The Position
Wortman Transportation is seeking a Part-Time Fuel Delivery Driver to execute the delivery of fuel to various locations throughout the distribution area. The distribution area is a local route, never exceeding 100-mile hauls. Weekends Required About Wortman Transportation Wortman Transportation is a family-owned distribution operation that was founded in 2024 and currently services the Jack Flash convenience store chain of 11 locations in Illinois. We are dedicated to providing top-notch service to the stores we service. Role Summary The Fuel Delivery Driver is a key role in ensuring we provide top-notch service to our customers. Driver safety, consistency, reliability, and being a team player are key characteristics that will allow a candidate to be successful in this role. Prequalification for the job include a minimum 1 year CDL experience and a clean driving record. Fuel delivery experience is preferred and will determine job eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year CDL experience
- CDL- class A with HAZ-MAT endorsement
- Valid Medical Card
- Ability to lift 50lb repetitively
- Reliability
- Being a team player
Nice To Haves
- Fuel delivery experience is preferred and will determine job eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and haul fuel in a safe and timely manner
- Close out load orders on an electronic device
- Maintain compliance with all DOT rules and regulations
- Communicate any issues with dispatch/ and/ or management
