FM -Fuel Delivery CDL Driver
About The Position
Our Fuel Delivery CDL Drivers have important roles at Star Nursery. They are responsible for safely transporting fuel and re-fueling trucks, lube services and minor mechanical repairs to our fleets. Position Details Must be physically capable and willing to work safely Must be willing to work in hot/dry/weather for extended periods Current valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Applicable Endorsements (HazMat/Tanker, Air Brakes, Std Transmission) Certified in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods or HazMat Experience delivering bulk fuel or other bulk liquids with formal training, or a combination of relevant education and experience Experience performing lube services and minor mechanical services such as head light replacement, oil changes, etc. Experience completing a proper pre & post trip A good sense of direction A friendly, courteous, and professional manner Excellent defensive driving skills and safe driving techniques Good communication and people skills (orally or written) are required Mon - Fri work schedule / hours to be discussed Qualifications: 1 year of experience as a HazMat Driver Must be safety minded Must work well with others as well as independently Additional information: Full Time The work requires moderate-heavy physical exertion Applicants must be physically fit and be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 70 lbs. Requirements
