About The Position

As a Fuel Contract Engineer, you will support processes to ensure you meet customers' technical and delivery requirements. You will communicate customers' needs to the team and maximize contract value consistent with Westinghouse strategic and financial goals. You will assist team marketing activities, contract execution, order implementation and control, and resolution of problems for specific customer deliverables. You will report to the Fuel Portfolio Manager. This role is hybrid and located in Columbia, SC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required
  • 3+ years of experience in product line/engineering/marketing/projects organizations or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel within the US and internationally.
  • Availability to work flexible hours to support meetings with customers and manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of fuel and components manufacturing, core and reload engineering, Nuclear Fuel products and services, commercial operations, financial planning and strategic goals. Previous customer-oriented experience.
  • Experience using SAP, Microsoft Project, Excel and Word, EDMS (Webtop), ENOVIA

  • Nuclear industry experience helpful

Responsibilities

  • Track major Nuclear Fuel delivery activities, order implementation and control and resolution of technical problems for specific assigned customers. This includes resolution of multi-discipline issues during fuel fabrication, fuel reload engineering efforts, fuel receipt, and fuel operation and supporting the process for gaining customer acceptance.
  • Track financial data to ensure that you enter and sustain customers' billing plans, issue invoices on time and meet revenue recognition / EBIDTA targets.
  • Maintain systems supporting Financial Planning, Business Planning and Demand Planning.
  • Maintain a Customer Scorecard, using standardized templates, and providing periodic updates as requested by Management including support of production readiness review and post job review meetings.
  • Track execution of contract work scope (manufacturing, product/core/reload engineering) based on knowledge of the fuel or components contract. Support customer surveillance activities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of NF contracts, products, and services. Help with integration of products and service capabilities and directly promoting to resolve customer needs.
