About The Position

The position involves creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages customer return. The individual will direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Fuel department, supporting the day-to-day operations and embracing the Customer 1st strategy to encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Responsibilities

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customer return.
  • Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department.
  • Monitor and control all established quality assurance standards.
  • Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Fuel department.
  • Support the day-to-day functions of the Fuel operations.
  • Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
  • Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget and profit and loss reviews.
  • Participate in the inventory process and maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions.
  • Train department associates on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO).
  • Process fuel, merchandise, and lottery sales quickly and accurately.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for the Fuel center.
  • Maintain till according to company policy and perform cashier functions.
  • Comply with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions to management.
  • Reinforce safety programs and maintain state, local, and company compliance reports and logs.
  • Complete incident and security reports and clean up spills as necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency plans, numbers, and procedures.
  • Notify management of customer or employee accidents and report all safety risks or illegal activity.
