About The Position

Miracle Hill Ministries is South Carolina's largest and most comprehensive provider of homeless services. At our core, we exist to serve people experiencing homelessness -physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We share the Good News of Jesus with them as they move toward independence, stability, and healthy relationships. Summary / Purpose of Position: Drives truck over assigned route to deliver stock to thrift stores, completes donor pickups and services donation centers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required
1 year experience
Valid SC Driver's License is required
MVR record must meet MHM insurance criteria
DOT physical required
Ability to pass a road test

Responsibilities

Supervises and assists loading and unloading truck
Completes and submits Truck Mileage Daily log, Driver Daily Checklist and work orders
Performs routine maintenance checks and cleans truck
Plans daily route for maximum efficiency
Projects ministry values and philosophy to clients, donors and ministry employees
Operates truck in accordance with all laws and rules of safe operation and vehicle performance
Has a willingness to share the good news of Jesus Christ, give a personal testimony and pray with/for those served by the ministry
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Responsibilities include training clients, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and solving problems.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
