About The Position

At Galloway Ridge, we take pride in providing exceptional, resident-centered care in a warm and supportive community. We are looking for a FT Server who creates a welcoming environment for our residents and helps with table service for a high level of customers. This position will mainly be Mondays – Fridays from 10:30 am – 7:30 p.m. You may be asked to occasionally work Saturdays and Sundays depending on needs.

Requirements

Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.
Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.
Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.

Responsibilities

Dining room maintenance – setting tables, maintaining a clean work environment, clear dishes from tables during and after meal service
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions about the menu, and provide a courteous demeanor to all residents, employees, and guests.
Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
Completes in-service training and educational sessions as assigned.
All other duties assigned including, but not limited to, enhancing the Resident Experience.
