About The Position

The position involves leading and supporting inventory management and merchandising standards and maintenance at the store. The goal is to provide a well-merchandised and in-stock store for customers to shop, while delivering friendly customer service. Major activities include assisting the Store Manager in managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and executing company policies and standards. The role also involves managing truck processes, planogram processes, shrink and safety programs, and serving as Manager on Duty (MOD). Additionally, the position requires maintaining seasonal sets and feature space to visual merchandising standards, assisting with interviewing and training new team members, and promoting a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Retail merchandising and customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Manage and support the truck processes and lead teams to meet standards.
  • Manage, execute and support the planogram process (POGs) to standard.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Maintain seasonal sets and feature space to visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
  • Support Talent Development activities and participate in Performance Management activities.
  • Interact with others in a respectful manner and promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values.
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes.
  • Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
