About The Position
The Perishable Manager at Food Lion plays a crucial role in supporting the management and operations of the store, specifically focusing on the Perishable Department. The Perishable Manager will also be tasked with achieving budgeted financial and operating results, controlling store expenses, and ensuring that the department maintains high standards of appearance, quality, and safety. This includes understanding and utilizing company tools such as financial reports and inventory systems, as well as ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role requires a proactive approach to monitoring shrink and preventing losses, as well as maintaining security standards and adhering to company guidelines.
