Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Van Driver for the Aloft in Euless, TX. The primary purpose of this role is to maximize guest satisfaction by providing timely shuttle service and exceptionally friendly service in a safe, clean van or company vehicle. The Van Driver will transport guests to and from assigned destinations using the property vehicle upon request, ensuring that all trips are documented prior to the start and at the conclusion of each trip. It is essential for the driver to comprehend and abide by all traffic regulations while transporting customers, maintaining the facility vehicles in working order, and inspecting them for damage and cleanliness. The driver will also check tire pressure and fluid levels for the property vehicle and refuel as necessary, notifying appropriate personnel of any vehicle maintenance needs. In addition, the Van Driver will document all vehicle incidents, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, and park the vehicle in designated locations when not in use. The role also involves assisting guests with luggage, answering telephones when needed, and providing warm, knowledgeable service to reassure guests that they have made the right choice to stay at the hotel. The Van Driver will welcome guests upon arrival, assist them with baggage, and help them in and out of the vehicle. They will also maintain clean and safe vans, entrances, and parking lots, and listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with hospitality processes and standards, particularly with brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt. The Van Driver must be able to perform various tasks in different environments, including standing and exerting mobility for up to 4 hours, lifting up to 50-75 lbs regularly, and pushing/pulling carts and equipment weighing up to 200 lbs. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for service are essential for success in this role.
