Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate midlevel provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Georgetown, TX. This role focuses on psychiatric medication management for adult patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. This is a 100% in-person position offering a consistent weekday schedule that supports strong work-life balance while providing meaningful care to individuals seeking mental health support.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Must be board certified.
• Active, unrestricted FNP license in Texas.
• Current DEA registration in Texas.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Experience providing services in an outpatient setting.
• Comfort working with psychiatric and behavioral health patient populations.

• Hospital or acute care environments
• Experience working collaboratively with psychiatric providers and nursing teams.
• Experience with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for outpatient medication management
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with Texas state regulations and best practices
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient goals
• Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment expectations
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in case consultation and clinical team meetings as needed
• Follow all clinical, legal, and ethical standards of practice
• Complete timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), including:
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory, accreditation, and facility standards.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies, including HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
