About The Position
Wingspan Life Resources has Full Time openings for qualified candidates to join our outstanding team of Mental Health Direct Support Professionals (MHDSP) serving our Specialized Services programs in Bloomington, Richfield, or Inver Grove Heights. Wingspan operates two kinds of Specialized Services homes: Crisis and Residential. Our crisis homes provide support and supervision to clients with disabilities and/or mental illness that need crisis intervention services and/or behavioral programs to rehabilitate and transition clients back to permanent housing. Our residential locations have either one or two individuals living in the home. At Specialized Services sites, staff are required to have experience working with individuals with one of the following: severe mental illness, crisis, physical interventions, and behavior supports. The role of staff is to keep safe and to support clients to allow them to be the best they can be, individually and/or within the community while reducing distress and providing a purpose in their lives.
