For more information, please visit us at vallevistahospital.com Position Summary: The Inpatient Therapist provides professional mental health care and case management of assigned patients. Therapist works closely with the psychiatrist and treatment team to ensure appropriate treatment and discharge planning for the patient. Therapist will complete assessments, facilitate treatment planning, provide group therapist and meet with patients individually. Seeking candidates with TF-CBT certification or at minimum, experience working with youth who have experienced complex trauma. Also preferable, experience working with individuals who have a substance use disorder.

Requirements

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work
License: State licensed in social work or clinical related mental health field; LCSW, preferred
Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family, individual, group and family therapy, case management, and crisis intervention, preferred.
Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Trauma-Focused CBT and DBT experience, preferred.
Seeking candidates with TF-CBT certification or at minimum, experience working with youth who have experienced complex trauma.
Also preferable, experience working with individuals who have a substance use disorder.
