About The Position

As a Hannaford To Go Expeditor, you serve as the customer service liaison for the department, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers picking up their orders. Your role involves organizing and prioritizing shop and pickup processes, conducting order reviews, and ensuring the quality of fresh items. You will be the face of Hannaford during customer interactions, responsible for accurate order fulfillment and maintaining high standards of service.

Requirements

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform specific job functions.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize shop and pickup processes.
• Conduct order reviews and check code dates and fresh product quality.
• Count parcels to ensure accuracy and stage orders appropriately.
• Setup shopper carts and partner with department leaders for item preparation.
• Dispense pickup and delivery orders car-side to customers and drivers.
• Monitor and manage last-mile delivery orders through dashboards.
• Answer phone calls to address customer questions and arrivals.
• Adhere to order wait time and order completeness goals.
• Handle cash pickups and change orders as requested.
• Verify customer IDs and observe store policies regarding age-restricted items.

• Salary range between $16.25 - $24.35 hourly
