About The Position

The Food Lion To Go Lead is responsible for overseeing the Food Lion To Go operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and associate morale. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training, and developing department associates.
  • Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and provide ongoing performance management.
  • Maintain effective work schedules for Food Lion To Go associates to meet business traffic requirements.
  • Provide leadership and motivation within the store to promote a positive culture.
  • Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
  • Partner with department managers to ensure fresh orders are handled properly.
  • Ensure return-to-stock items are managed promptly, especially refrigerated and perishable items.
  • Role model outstanding customer service and offer solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Control store expenses through proper ordering and care for supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize company tools such as financial reports and business information systems effectively.
  • Maintain department appearance, quality, workplace safety, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Observe and correct unsafe conditions to prevent accidents.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and standard practices.
  • Maintain security standards and complete required training courses.
