About The Position

The VCC Full-time Float Pool is a staffing plan and program created to provide flexibility with the staffing assignment schedule throughout the Village Care Center. Associates working exclusively in the Pool are classified as full-time and required to work a minimum number of hours. Full-time associates are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), insurance benefits (health, dental, vision, etc), and the TSA plan offered by the Village.

Requirements

• Must work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Must work at least one weekend shift defined as beginning Friday at 7:00a and ending at 7:00a on Monday.
• Must be scheduled to work at least three of the six holidays per calendar year.
• Failure to meet the requirements may jeopardize VCC Full-time Float Pool status.

Responsibilities

• Must work five 12-hour shifts each pay period.
• One shift each pay period must be a weekend shift.
• Will be assigned a holiday rotation.
• Provide the Staffing Office a calendar of preferred work shifts for the upcoming month.
• Work where assigned throughout the care center.
• Eligible for any applicable shift differential available to full-time associates.
