About The Position

As a Lead Framer at Michaels in Sarasota, FL, you will lead and coach a team of framers focused on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for their art. Your role will involve driving custom framing sales and assisting customers in creating memorable framing solutions. You will assist the Store Manager in managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. You will also be responsible for developing and coaching the team on selling behaviors, delivering high-quality custom framing solutions on time, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will manage inventory processes, execute shrink and safety programs, and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD). Your responsibilities will include interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training new team members, as well as participating in performance management activities.
