About The Position

The Resident Care Assistant at Holy Spirit Retirement Home plays a crucial role in providing compassionate care to assisted living residents. Requirements

• Obtain a Mandatory Reporter Certificate for Adult Abuse.
• Successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
• Pass a physical examination.
• Complete a drug test.
• Undergo a TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
• Help during mealtimes by serving food, cleaning up, and assisting residents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment by tidying residents' rooms, shared spaces, and equipment.
• Provide companionship and transport residents to meals, activities, and appointments.
• Monitor residents regularly to ensure their safety and comfort, addressing personal needs promptly.
• Develop strong working relationships with team members across all departments to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Stay committed to resident privacy, safety, and respect in all aspects of care.
