Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication and providing hands-on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment, which may include light housekeeping.
• Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assessing for changes in condition and communicating immediately to the supervisor.
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Documenting medications according to procedures.
• Utilizing good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Completing all required documents and charting.
• Answering call lights and assessing residents' needs.
• Obtaining meal trays and assisting with eating.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
