Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred for Technician I.
• Five years related experience for Technician I; three years for Technician II.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain clearance to drive college vehicles.
• Knowledge of preventative and general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Skill in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English, verbally and in writing.
• Experience with heavy equipment operations.
• Skill in reading blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on buildings and related systems.
• Enter required data into the maintenance management system.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems servicing, repair, and installation.
• Perform construction work including drywall installation, building partitions, and installing doors and windows.
• Inspect equipment and tools daily to ensure proper working condition.
• Respond to emergency calls and work orders as assigned by the supervisor.
• Adhere to college policies, building codes, and OSHA/ADOSH requirements.
