About The Position

The Activity Therapist plans and conducts varied group and individual recreation therapy for all patients. Additionally, the Activity Therapist helps coordinate scheduling and programming, provides groups and AT assessments for behavioral health inpatient clients of all ages.

Requirements

• A four year degree in Recreation or related field preferred.
• Preferably certified through National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification or meets requirements to be certified.
• Prefer Art Therapist, Yoga Instructor or Music Therapist.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct varied group and individual recreation therapy for all patients.
• Coordinate scheduling and programming for therapy sessions.
• Provide groups and AT assessments for behavioral health inpatient clients of all ages.
