About The Position

Works with Operations Manager & Food Service Director unloading Delivery trucks, delivering food to the schools, takes weekly inventory inventory. Follows all food safety guidelines and processes.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 3 years as well as ability to meet company insurance requirements
Ability to perform simple arithmetic as well as to understand measurements and conversion
Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Handler certification)
Outgoing, friendly and customer focused
Ability to work effectively on a team
Works with speed, consistency and organization
Comfortable and pleasant demeanor in very busy environments
Follow all policies in the team member handbook and all food safety guidelines
Strong knife skills
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Detail orientation
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to read, write and speak English
Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, bend, use hands to feel, and reach with hands and arms
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Exposure to odors, noise, heat, steam, in/out walk-in freezer, cleaning chemicals and detergent
Kitchen environments
Work outside & inside a walk in freezer
Noise level is low to moderate

Responsibilities

Work with Operations Manager & Food Service Director unloading delivery trucks & transporting food to each school. Follow Quest, local, State and Federal guidelines for the proper handling of food products.
Assist with taking weekly inventory & assist in the cafeteria
Assist in the overall sanitation of the line and product kitchen and lead as a role model to the team.
Maintain open and effective communication with management & the leads to ensure all products are delivered.
Double check that amount of food being transported will meet demands.
Work “as team player” with all associates and managers in a professional manner.
Assist with the sanitation of the production kitchen and responsible for sanitary transport equipment.
Transport all foods to each school in a safe and timely manner.
Maintain Truck Mileage Log, manage maintenance needs and cleanliness as needed.
Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure safe food practices.
Follow all Quest policies and food safety guidelines.
Report to scheduled shift on time and in complete uniform.
Perform other duties as assigned.
