About The Position

Family Service of RI (FSRI) is a statewide organization with a 130 year track record of improving the health and well-being of children and families. FSRI’s diverse and inclusive teams – working across the Health, Healing, Home and Hope divisions, are experts in their fields, delivering strategies to positively impact lives. We provide services statewide, and currently operate in three locations in Providence; and four locations in East Providence, Smithfield and North Smithfield. The position involves providing transportation for children and families to and from the coaching visitation program, assisting program staff with coaching visitation and activities as needed, providing administrative support to program staff, maintaining materials and supplies for the coaching visitation program, and ensuring that the coaching visitation center is well-kept and family friendly.

Requirements

• Prior experience transporting children and families is a plus.
• Desire to work with children and families.
• Able to work evening and weekend hours.
• Clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation with a minimum of three seats in addition to the driver's seat.
• Valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, registration, and inspection.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
• Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for children and families to and from coaching visitation program.
• Assist program staff with coaching visitation and activities as needed.
• Provide administrative support to program staff.
• Maintain materials and supplies for coaching visitation program.
• Ensure that the coaching visitation center is well-kept and family friendly.
