Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for Elk Grove Village, IL. You will test and inspect products to ensure finished products adhere to the established quality standards and meets regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Associates degree: Bachelor’s degree in food science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related life science preferred
1+ years of experience in food manufacturing environment in a QA/QC role
Knowledge of trend analysis preferred
Physical requirements include frequent standing for extended periods of time; walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 60 pounds unassisted; bending, crouching, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs and ladders; work area may be slippery and may have uneven surfaces
Ability to work overtime and flexibility in work hours (24-hour operation)
Varied temperature environment - (hot & cold environments)

Responsibilities

Test and inspect product at various stages of production – this includes dimensions, weight, temperature and performance.
Conduct on line inspection and process control limits.
Compile and evaluate data to maintain quality and reliability of products.
Understand and enforce principles of HACCP, GMP and GDK Foods quality standards
