About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Technician 5 , you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and plant systems. Your key responsibilities will include : Conduct Inspections : Perform thorough physical and visual inspections of our products and plant systems to ensure everything meets our high standards . Document & Report: Accurately document and calculate inspection results and report your findings to management. Take Action : Proactively take corrective actions, when necessary, by alerting the appropriate personnel to adjust processes, and identifying , segregating, and isolating non-conforming products. Collaborate : Work closely with your team and management to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards. Additional Assignments: Be ready to take on any additional tasks that come your way, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience in a FSQA role preferred or other QA type experience.
  • Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Special Skills: Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork.
  • Leadership abilities to motivate the hourly workforce.
  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid math and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to function well under stress.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed.
  • Physical Requirements : Position involves heavy lifting ( 50 lbs. or more).
