About The Position

SUMMARY : Responsible for ensuring compliance with the company’s HACCP, SSOP, Animal Welfare, and GMP programs by completing the necessary paperwork along with ensuring product adheres to Tecumseh Poultry and USDA guidelines. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE: In the absence of a FSQA technician I, a trained FSQA technician will take on all quality and food safety related duties conducted by a FSQA technician I.

Requirements

Ability to communicate FSQA standards with production associates, maintenance associates, USDA, management and other FSQA techs
Ability to work safely and effectively
Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace; managing time while meeting scheduling requirements
Must be able to work independently and make decisions
Willingness to function as part of a team and work toward team goals
Eagerness to learn new ideas
Preparedness to assist in other areas of production and work overtime as required
Applicant must not have worked for Tyson more than a total of 3 times prior.
Applicants must also have completed at least 90 days since their last employment with Tyson.
Must use 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses

Responsibilities

Inspect and audit products for adherence of Tecumseh Poultry and USDA guidelines
Data collection and record keeping activities
Performs all necessary SSOP monitoring and completes all paperwork.
Perform necessary HACCP monitoring of the birds and completes necessary paperwork
Other duties as assigned
