About The Position

The FSQ Systems Specialist at Schwan's Company is responsible for the administration, training, documentation, and reporting of food safety quality (FSQ) applications. This role involves working with various FSQ systems, including SafetyChain and InfinityQS, to ensure compliance and improve processes within the organization. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance food safety and product consistency while providing support and guidance in project management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Typically has 1-3 years related work experience.
  • Knowledge of database management.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word).
  • Ability to work with remote staff to perform troubleshooting for users.
  • Independent, self-starter with the ability to work with teams.
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills.
  • Experience in/with Manufacturing and FSQ.

Responsibilities

  • Continuous process review to apply updates or identify improvements to accommodate changes in FSQ programs or system upgrades.
  • Assist with implementation of FSQ applications in Schwan's facilities, which may require travel.
  • Development of training guides and plans to support plant FSQ departments.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify needs, develop application processes, and provide reporting to assist FSQ and R&D with improving food safety, maintaining product consistency, and driving business results.
  • Database management and troubleshooting within SafetyChain, InfinityQS, and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Assist with support and maintenance of databases and applications.
  • Investigate legacy processes for improvement needs and use within the FSQ systems.
  • Interact with staff across all platforms and departments.
  • Provide support and guidance with project management.
  • Development of test cases and training documentation.
  • Data analysis, investigation, and report generation.
  • Train and develop users remotely.
  • Ensure conduct aligns with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and standards.
