As a Food Safety & Quality Manager, you will be accountable for maintaining the Quality Error Rate to departmental goals, managing labor minutes per box, and ensuring that inbound inspection activities are completed correctly and quickly. You will conduct warehouse checks, maintain internal audit percentages, and support internal preparation activities in collaboration with operations on product pick errors. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on the implementation and modifications to programs with other FSQA leaders, creating a strong culture of food safety and quality through process execution and enhancement, and advocating for quality throughout the product lifecycle. You will lead internal and external food safety audit programs, including SQF audits, internal mock audits, USDA, and FDA audits. Additionally, you will conduct root cause analyses to investigate increased error rates and non-conformance events, managing a highly effective Quality Food Safety team, providing necessary tools and training, and ensuring accurate communication with partnering teams.
