About The Position

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 238-bed acute care hospital serving Bay County and surrounding communities for over 40 years. The hospital provides comprehensive emergency and specialty care including adult and pediatric emergency services, advanced cardiac assessment, certified women's services, stroke care, robotic surgery, orthopedic care, and joint replacement. It is the only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation in the region and has the only Level III NICU and Pediatric ICU in the area. The FSED RN role provides professional nursing care in the Freestanding Emergency Department , collaborating with all members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years recent Acute Care ER RN experience (within the last year)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
  • Current Florida RN license or compact licensure (FL RN compact license required within 90 days if held in another state)
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
