About The Position

The FS Sanitation Supervisor supervises the sanitation staff and ensures compliance with day-to-day sanitation quality standards, procedures, policies, and the Master Sanitation Schedule.

Requirements

Able to work alone with minimal supervision
Able to effectively supervise the work of others.
Strong written and verbal communication ability
Strong leadership skills to lead a team
Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and food safety protocols
High School Diploma/GED or higher
1-2 years of sanitation experience; preference will be given to candidates with experience in sanitation role in a food manufacturing facility

Nice To Haves

Preference will be given to candidates with 1 year of supervisory in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or Sanitation

Responsibilities

Perform and monitor daily sanitation checks throughout the entire facility
Supervise and monitor staff adherence to sanitation practices, SSOPs; conduct training.
Manage staff scheduling and ensure timely completion of cleaning, sanitation, and facility handover to production.
Maintain sanitation chemical inventory and calibration; replenishes hygiene supplies and personal protective equipment.
Monitors the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
Participate in training and improvement strategies to achieve company, plant, and department goals.
Supervise sanitation team members to assess their performance, manage time and attendance, and train and develop as needed.
Perform microbiological sampling and other duties as assigned.
Temporarily assume manager responsibilities when needed.
Other related duties as assigned.
