About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Food Safety Technician to support our facility's compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and the health and safety of our consumers and team. Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of experience, preferably in a hospitality, food production environment, catering establishment within floor monitoring, food safety and quality parameters
  • Good computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Knowledge in HACCP, ISO, and food safety systems
  • Food Safety Certification, state specific if applicable
  • HACCP Certified preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document Critical Control Points (CCPs) and temperature logs; escalate issues when necessary.
  • Conduct internal food safety audits and prepare samples for microbiological testing.
  • Maintain and organize quality assurance files to support traceability and audit readiness.
  • Investigate food safety-related customer complaints and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support both internal and external food safety audits and inspections.
  • Keep hygiene and sanitation records accurate, organized, and compliant with regulations.
  • Maintain employee training records and track food safety certification renewals.
  • Deliver food safety and hygiene training to staff as needed.
