About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have 3 months of work experience in the past 12 months
  • Must be able to come in early for setup daily
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must be able to read and understand the CPU on the micron pro filter
  • Must learn the oil tanks and all operations of valves to pump oil to and from the fryer
  • Must record data of oil usage to paperwork
  • Must input fryer dwell time and temp into the infinity station located at fryer
  • Must wear all PPE when working near or in the fryer : (Helmet w/Shield, Fryer pants, Fryer coat, slip resisting & oil resistant boot, green rubber gloves when working around the fryer, Fryer gloves when working on the fryer)
  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
  • Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
  • Rehire Consideration: 365 day (1 year) waiting period
  • Max of two previous Tyson employments to be consider for hire
