About The Position

The Fry Cook is responsible for preparing fried foods according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cooking techniques, works efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, and pays attention to food quality and presentation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Fry Cook or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality food.
  • Knowledge of fryer operation and food safety standards.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare fried foods, including appetizers, sides, and main dishes, according to the menu and recipes.
  • Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and consistency, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Monitor fryer temperatures and oil levels, ensuring safe and proper operation.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage, handling, and cooking of food.
  • Regularly clean fryers and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Monitor the supply of ingredients needed for fried dishes and inform the kitchen manager of any shortages.
  • Properly store and label food items according to health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure all fried items are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Assist with other kitchen duties as needed, including prep work and cleaning.
