Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a Handlers certification before employment begins
• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Punctual and reliable attendance is required
• 1 plu(s) years of experience in a high-volume establishment is required
• Must be well-groomed and professionally dressed following uniform standards
• Must have attention for detail, and a passion for serving Guests
• Positive and professional attitude in every aspect of the position
• Physical requirements: Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time; capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.; ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety and handling procedures, such as product rotation, dating and labeling all food items
• Prepare fryers and prep items in a timely matter
• Demonstrate expertise when it comes to timing when fried food need to be ready
• Maintain fresh oil and dispose of used oil
• Cook all food items according to the specified cooking times to ensure they are safe for customer consumption
• Follow proper knife handling procedures
• Ensure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet company standards
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions are met
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff to prepare food and provide them with needed items
