Requirements

  • Three plus years of previous related agricultural experience preferred.
  • Experience with food safety programs (HACCP, GMPs, SQF, or equivalent).
  • Capable of troubleshooting mechanical issues and coordinating maintenance.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving history.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Notifies Marsh Operations Manager of safety issues and/or accidents immediately
  • Communicate effectively in group situations and with workers to accomplish goals.
  • Oversee daily operation of the cranberry cleaning station and fresh fruit plant, including receiving, screening, separating, drying, and quality-grading processes.
  • Competent with production tracking systems, scales, lot coding, and inventory recording.
  • Maintain optimal flow of fruit through the cleaning system and fresh fruit plant to meet production targets.
  • Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget; control costs and track KPIs.
