SUMMARY: Monitor the level of raw fruit in the bunkers. Remove foreign objects from raw material prior to entering the sauce washer. Basic ability to communicate in English. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words, and to recognize similarities and differences between words and a series of numbers. Ability to communicate in English. Ability to write simple correspondence Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, other employees of TreeTop. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of measure. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be required to: Sit stand, walk, use hands to; finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance; talk or hear; taste or smell; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to inspect the fruit, distance vision to monitor the Van Mark, mirrors, and the pit; peripheral vision to see the belts running while inspecting fruit, and depth perception to judge the amount of fruit in the Van Mark. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be exposed to: Extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, high precarious positions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, all weather conditions, vibrations, and loud noise.
