About The Position

As part of our Product Team, a Frozens Operator plays a key role in ensuring that our berries are accounted for and packaged as fresh or frozen to meet upcoming sales requirements. What you’ll be learning and be responsible for: Inspect, and execute quality testing to ensure that each berry meets our rigid standards of quality for freezing operations. Conduct sanitation and hygiene management essential to keep the packaging operation to food safety standards. Engage in data entry to track the product in and out of inventory. Work as part of a team to ensure the product is shipped on time. Operate an automated cutting machine along with vacuum sealing machine to ensure product is sealed and packaged

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Hand dexterity
Comfortable in an active non sedentary role for lengths of up to 5 to 6 hours at a time
Willing to work in 38F environment
MUST NOT be allergic to bees

Nice To Haves

Prior Experience in a commercial kitchen or commercial packaging operation is a plus!
Food Safety Certification is also a plus!
Basic understanding of Google Sheets
