Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • One or more years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, equipment maintenance, or related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrate some operational understanding of machinery involved in the warehouse process.
  • Experience driving a forklift.
  • Possess OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification or be willing to obtain certification through on-site training.
  • Willingness to be CPR/AED/First-Aid trained.
  • Safety mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in warehouse operations or related field is preferred.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Supervisory Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in training new employees and learning operational procedures.
  • Supervise Warehouse Staff, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
  • Address personnel and warehouse issues, keeping the Management Team informed and communication open with all employees.
  • Provide coverage for Frozen during absences or vacations.
  • Facilitate Team Meetings and Shift Huddles to communicate goals, updates, and safety reminders.
  • Provide employee recognition to foster a culture of encouragement, positivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage shift schedules and attendance, including approving time off and handling coverage.
  • Oversee cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and reduce waste.
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all packaging orders.
  • Know and comply with all PQC, SOP, and HACCP Programs related to operations.
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment by correcting unsafe acts, doing inspections, and enforcing plant Safety Programs.
  • Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
